This album came out last month, but I have only recently discovered it from clearing my backlog of AV Club music posts. To start with I was not so impressed, as the first half of the album is good without being great and resolutely retro, except for the track The AV Club featured, the excellent Point of Being Right. However, from the sublime Corvette onwards it is brilliant and more sonically interesting.
